Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AgentLab (the "Service"), operated by AgentLab ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AgentLab is a software-as-a-service platform that gives you access to AI-powered assistants ("agents") that produce text and images for marketing, research, copywriting, business advice and related tasks, based on the instructions and context you provide. The Service is delivered entirely online. The agents do not access your external accounts or systems.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Free plan, plans & billing

Every account includes a free plan with three tasks and one project, at no cost and without a payment method. For more credits, follow-up chat with your CEO and more projects, you can subscribe to a paid plan (Starter, Growth or Pro; monthly or annual — see current prices in Billing). Paid subscriptions are charged immediately at checkout — there is no free trial. You can change plan (upgrade or downgrade) at any time.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Prices are shown in euros and may exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.

4. Credits & usage limits

Plans include a monthly allowance of credits. A text task or follow-up message consumes one credit; generating an image consumes additional credits, as shown in the app. Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. We may apply reasonable rate limits to protect the Service.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused credits.

6. Your content & ownership

You retain ownership of the instructions, context and materials you submit ("Input"). Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we assign to you all rights we may have in the text and images the Service generates for you ("Output"). You are responsible for your Input and for how you use the Output, including ensuring you have the rights to any material you submit and that your use complies with the law.

Because of the nature of AI, Output may not be unique — similar Input by others may produce similar results — and we make no guarantee of accuracy, originality or fitness for a particular purpose. You should review Output before relying on or publishing it.

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store your conversations with our AI agents (your Input and the resulting Output) and to use them to operate, secure, improve and train our AI models, agents and features. We describe how we handle this data, including steps to reduce the personal data involved, in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• generate content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or that sexualizes minors;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
• submit others' personal data without a lawful basis to do so.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

8. Third-party providers

The Service relies on third parties to function, including OpenAI (AI processing), Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service involves processing by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may change pricing with reasonable prior notice for upcoming billing periods.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AgentLab does not provide legal, financial, medical or other professional advice; Output is for informational purposes only.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account cancels your subscription and permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example by email or in-app) before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
